Summary

Ezra Braden knew when he, his wife, and two sons settled into a life of ranching in the high country of Oregon that somehow, life would be different from the military lifestyle they left back in Virginia. After burying his second wife, change was inevitable. But when Ezra and Jubal Braden return from a three day ride only to find John, the soft-spoken youngest son so reminiscent of his mother, murdered in a futile robbery, the hardened Bradens set out for revenge.
